We Need *YOUR* Help! Volunteer with BRES PTA

We’re still looking for several BRES Volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year.

The new school year is right around the corner, and we are still searching for several positions on the PTA BoardVP of Fundraising, VP of Membership, Treasurer-Elect, and President-Elect (in training) — as well as the following non-board positions:

  • Sign Up Genius Superstar (Web based) (filled!!)

  • Teacher Appreciation Committee (Potlucks and decorating!)

  • Flyer Distribution (Print flyers and fill mailboxes bi-monthly)

  • Book Fair Captains - (In-Person Cash Handling October 5-13)

  • Food Truck Coordinator (Invite yummy trucks to our events — can be totally web-based)

By serving on the board or in a non-board position, you can contribute your skills, ideas, and passion to help create a positive environment that supports the growth and development of every child at our school.

A few more reasons to give your valuable time to help the BRES PTA:

  • Collaborate with Diverse Minds and Build Strong Relationships: The PTA offers a platform for families, teachers, and school administrators to come together to brainstorm and collaborate on innovative solutions for challenges facing our school community. In these PTA roles, your unique perspective and ideas will be valued and heard. This is also a fantastic way to connect with your school community and forge lasting friendships and partnerships that extend beyond the elementary school years.

  • Develop New Skills: NO EXPERIENCE is necessary (new Kindergarten parents especially – take note! We will train you!), and serving on the board or in a non-board position will help you enhance your leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Flexible Engagement: We understand that everyone has varying schedules and commitments. We value your time and offer flexible roles that cater to different levels of involvement. Your involvement absolutely CAN align with your availability and interests.

  • Support Our Children's Future and MAKE A DIFFERENCE: You'll have the chance to directly influence decisions that impact our school, from educational programs to extracurricular activities and beyond, and contribute to creating an environment where *all* students thrive.

Our PTA is a vital part of what makes BRES an incredible school and community. If you're interested in any of these positions or would just like to learn more about the available roles, please reach out to president@brespta.org.
