Before and After School Activities at BRES

Below is a list of before and after school clubs and activities at the Bayard Rustin Elementary School.

After-school clubs/activities from outside vendors/companies/individuals are not sponsored or endorsed by Bayard Rustin ES, Bayard Rustin PTA, or Montgomery County Public Schools. 

• Programs begin on different weeks so be sure to review your registration in advance.

• If programs enroll less than the minimum number of students, they may be postponed or canceled. All programs reserve the right to cap enrollment due to staffing needs.

• Club providers are responsible for students during the time of the scheduled club and are required to manage arrival and dismissal of their club.

• Parents must contact providers directly about club schedules/time and are encouraged to contact providers to learn about rules, policies, and safety measures before enrolling their children.

Kids After Hours (www.kidsafterhours.com) offers before and after-school programs every day at BRES.

Kiddo: We have partnered with this local company that streamlines the registrations for these enrichment companies. Activities are still being added. Please review the listings here and register ASAP because classes may fill!

• Beginning the week of 09/23: Yoga (M), Dance (Grades K-2, 3-5, W), STEM Lab Magic Beans Lego (K-2, W), Yoga (AM - Th)

• Beginning the week of 09/30: Spanish (M- please enroll in the appropriate level), Mudskipper Pottery (W)

• Beginning the week of 10/7: Magnus Chess (Th)

Although the PTA does not coordinate after-school activities, we are committed to providing information about the enrichment opportunities available to the parents and students. Scouting Programs
