The PTA purchased a plaque about the Bayard Rustin Community Mural that was completed in 2019. Ms. Haviland and students in second-fifth grade (2018-2019) produced the art work to commemorate the opening of BRES and civil rights leader Bayard Rustin. Thanks to Ms. Haviland and the student artists for their great work. Happy Bayard Rustin Week!
