Share your thoughts on armed school resource officers. The Montgomery County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (MCCPTA) is debating a proposal to ask Montgomery County Public Schools to discontinue the practice of placing armed School Resource Officers (police officers) full time in high schools. Delegates to the MCCPTA will be asked to vote on whether to support this proposal at the March meeting. We welcome feedback from the BRES community.
